A little about me…
Hi! I’m Laura Harter- I’m so glad you found my site! I grew up mostly in Colorado and still carry my affinity for mountains wherever I am. After finishing my Master’s in Counseling from the University of Colorado, I landed a ‘gig’ (insert ‘volunteer mission’) in Mexico and forced my little brother to learn to drive a manual and help me move down south. After that adventure, I returned to the U.S., worked as a teacher and counselor, and worked with college students at my church— leading groups and missions trips.
After a few more years in Colorado, I moved to Moscow, Russia, working as a counselor at the international school serving the embassy families. Then my counseling contract with the U. S. Military moved me between Germany and Japan.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Hawaii. I hold an Ed.S. and am currently working on my Ph.D.
I LOVE understanding people. I LOVE getting to know you! Life is full of these crazy twists and turns and nobody has the same path. I have a passion for walking with women through lulls or stuck places— to help them reset, get back on their journey, and walking toward their calling and purpose. It’s time, don’t you think?
